Mojo Rawley def. Curt Hawkins (Kickoff Match)

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 020_ELIM_02122017ej_0279--a67f67c23630c7a81ff3562b90c07ea8

PHOENIX – Curt Hawkins has thrown so much shade at Mojo Rawley, it’s a wonder the former professional football player doesn’t have a serious vitamin D deficiency.

Hawkins recently began antagonizing Rawley due to his close friendship with New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski.

And just like the Patriots’ historic Super Bowl comeback, Mojo also appeared to be on the ropes when he shocked the crowd inside the Talking Stick Resort Arena and scored a victory over Hawkins in dramatic fashion at Elimination Chamber.

Even without the ringside support of an injured Zack Ryder, his tag team partner (and, interestingly enough, Hawkins former tag team partner), Mojo quickly found his groove, leveling his opponent with several brutal lariats.

Hawkins, however, would not be discouraged.
After distracting the referee, Hawkins raked the eyes of his rival and put him on his back for the count of two.

Hawkins offense looked impressive.
That is, until Mojo rallied and crushed Hawkins jaw with a jarring right fist.

He then lifted his opponent and slammed him with authority before moving in for the three-count.

Will Mojo’s impressive win finally convince Hawkins to rethink his toxic talk? Probably not, but we suspect Mojo would be more than happy to continue forcing his nemesis to face the facts.

Becky Lynch def. Mickie James

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 038_ELIM_02122017jg_0240--1f0ff88366ffa1d575579792ae1cee7c

PHOENIX — Becky Lynch has been out for payback against Mickie James for a month, since James' reemergence in WWE to cost Lynch the SmackDown Women's Championship.

At Elimination Chamber 2017, The Irish Lass Kicker got what she’s been looking for, picking up a hard-fought victory over James by surprising the veteran with a roll-up.

The two Superstars looked to be on even ground in the early moments of the match, with neither woman able to gain the upper hand until Lynch connected with a diving forearm to the arena floor.

James recovered and began targeting The Irish Lass Kicker’s arm, hoping to lessen the effectiveness of Lynch’s patented Dis-arm-her.

Despite the ruthlessness of James’ attack, Lynch persevered and battled back, even surviving a Mick Kick.
Mickie’s focus on the arm paid off, as Becky was unable to lock on the Dis-arm-her.

However, The Irish Lass Kicker was able to slip out of her rival’s clutches and turn the tables, rolling up James to get the three-count and retribution.

Though Lynch walked out of Phoenix with the win, the nature of her victory will surely have James seething ... and looking to make sure this isn’t the last chapter in their rivalry.

Kalisto & Apollo Crews def. Dolph Ziggler (2-on-1 Handicap Match)

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 073_ELIM_02122017ej_1575--b61d077887f275fdaf4dcf94a9ae5f9d

PHOENIX – Dolph Ziggler really stepped in it.
On SmackDown LIVE, The Showoff had been attacking both Kalisto and Apollo Crews individually for weeks.

So cocky was Ziggler that he told the blue brand’s General Manager, Daniel Bryan, that he could defeat Crews and Kalisto in a Handicap Match. Well, be careful what you wish for.

That’s exactly where The Showoff found himself at WWE Elimination Chamber, when he lost to the young upstarts in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

It’s hard enough to defeat either Kalisto or Crews in singles competition, so Ziggler knew going in it would be an uphill climb.

Perhaps that’s why he mercilessly attacked Kalisto even before the match began.
The ambush paid off initially as it was clear Kalisto was not 100 percent.

As a result, the lion’s share of offense for his team would fall squarely on Crews’ granite shoulders.
Although Ziggler’s effort was to be applauded, he simply couldn’t keep up with the numbers game.

In the end, he missed a tag that made Crews the legal man.
And the hulking Superstar took full advantage, leveling The Showoff with a Spin-out Powerbomb.

Ziggler, however, would not go quietly after losing.
After the match, as Kalisto and Crews celebrated, Ziggler was determined to make a statement as he unexpectedly leveled the luchador, then nearly snapped Crews’ ankle with a steel chair.

It seems that even in defeat, Ziggler would not be silenced.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha win Tag Team Turmoil

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 111_ELIM_02122017jg_0560--00127b498520e6bc5d4b75525703e36b

PHOENIX — Many thought American Alpha were overconfident when they agreed to face every tandem from SmackDown LIVE in a Tag Team Turmoil Match for their SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Those critics were forced to eat their words, however, after Jason Jordan & Chad Gable outlasted their challengers to retain their titles at WWE Elimination Chamber 2017.

The bout started off with the first-ever SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Heath Slater & Rhyno, squaring off against Breezango.

Unfortunately for SmackDown LIVE’s Fashion Police, there was no citation to stop Rhyno from Gore-ing Fandango & Tyler Breeze out of the bout.

The Vaudevillains came out next and met a similar fate, with Slater pinning Aiden English after an implant DDT.

Though the inaugural champions looked to be on their way to a second reign, The Usos stopped the red-hot Slater & Rhyno in their tracks, pinning Slater with a superkick.

That sent American Alpha into the melee, where Jimmy & Jey Uso met the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the aisle and set off a brawl back to the ring.

The Usos tried, but failed, to keep Chad Gable away from Jason Jordan, setting off a rapid-fire series of events that ended with Gable pinning Jey for the three-count.

The Usos went into a fury after their elimination, bulldozing over American Alpha and hurling Gable into the steel ring steps.

Things looked bleak for the champions as the final team in the battle, The Ascension, entered the ring and immediately hit a dazed Jordan with the Fall of Man.

However, Gable somehow made it back into the ring and broke up the pinfall.
Viktor & Konnor tried to capitalize on the weary champions, but American Alpha was all heart and refused to give in.

Evading Konnor, Jordan got back to his corner and tagged in Gable, who neutralized the big man at ringside.
He then slid back into the ring just in time to connect with Grand Amplitude to retain the titles.

American Alpha have survived their biggest challenge to date by outlasting every team on SmackDown LIVE in Tag Team Turmoil.

With that feather in their cap, who’s next to step up and challenge the SmackDown Tag Team Champions?

Nikki Bella vs. Natalya ends in a Double Count-out

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 141_ELIM_02122017ej_3348--c2f80373930ee674a0c19af582164330

PHOENIX – Jealousy has brought about the demise of many a good friendship.
Count Nikki Bella and Natalya among them.

In an attempt to settle matters, the two clashed inside the ring at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Their intensely personal rivalry would not be resolved, however, as their match ended in a double count-out.

Tensions between these two stretch back almost two months, when The Queen of Black Harts finally admitted it was she who attacked Nikki backstage prior to her match at Survivor Series.

The motive? Apparently, Natalya was jealous of the attention Nikki has been receiving, both in and out of the ring.

Since that admission, Natalya has been mocking Nikki, claiming that she’s the better wrestler.
And for a while there at Elimination Chamber, she was making a strong case. In between a series of impressively strong maneuvers, Natalya could hardly contain her disdain, mocking Nikki’s boyfriend, John Cena, by mimicking his “U Can’t See Me” hand gesture and even going so far as to taunt Nikki’s mother, who was looking on from the front row inside Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena.

When the action spilled outside the ring, however, the fighting became so fierce that neither woman took note of the referee’s 10-count, essentially disqualifying both Superstars.

The rivalry would not end there, though, as Nikki would spear Natalya as she walked up the ramp, signaling that the bad blood between these two will continue to run deep.

Randy Orton def. Luke Harper

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 155_ELIM_02122017jg_0708--e46c1662fe02ed83495be91311c0d4b7

PHOENIX — As he prepares to main-event WrestleMania, Randy Orton would not be thrown off-track by his former Wyatt Family cohort, Luke Harper.
The Viper vanquished Harper with a thunderous RKO at Elimination Chamber 2017.

While Bray Wyatt prepared to challenge for the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, his top acolyte battled the loyal follower he threw out of his Family.

Harper overpowered The Apex Predator in the early moments of the match, forcing Orton to regroup at ringside.

However, Harper would not give Orton an inch, continuing his attack at ringside.
The Viper eventually responded in kind, viciously planting Harper onto the announcers’ desk with a sickening thud.

Orton slowed the match down to the methodical pace he loves, but that also gave Harper a chance to recover.

The big man showed off his surprising agility before stunning The Apex Predator with a monstrous boot.

After a huge tope suicida to the arena floor that sent Orton flying into the German commentary team, Harper gave The Viper a taste of his own medicine, slamming him into the announcers’ table.

Harper tried to capitalize back in the ring, but was caught on the ropes by Orton, leaving him vulnerable to a ring-rocking superplex.

The big man recovered and nearly took off The Viper’s head with a pair of staggering superkicks.
Harper was feeling confident as he planted Orton into the mat with a sit-out powerbomb, but there was no putting down The Apex Predator on this night.

Harper went for his patented discus clothesline, but Orton countered and connected with the RKO to pick up the victory.

With this major roadblock out of the way, the Road to WrestleMania is clear for Randy Orton.
Will anything stand between him and the WWE Championship in the main event at The Show of Shows?

Naomi def. Alexa Bliss to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 196_ELIM_02122017hmm_4824--e4500973dd805d27b9bc3a931213fd42

PHOENIX – Time for the WWE Universe to bask in the glow.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Naomi overcame the fierce and, at times, underhanded attack of Alexa Bliss to win the first championship of her career in the form of the SmackDown Women’s Title.

Her victory, however, would not come easy.
Bliss has remained champion in no small part thanks to some unsavory tactics, and this match at Elimination Chamber proved to be no exception.

In the end, though, Naomi, arguably WWE’s most gifted athlete, would persevere.
She not only countered Alexa’s offense, but nearly brought the house down when she bounced off the top rope and flipped backward, landing on a prone Bliss.

The impact rendered the champion immobile, ensuring Naomi’s victory and putting an end to Little Miss Bliss’ 70-day reign.

After the match, Naomi became overcome with emotion, shedding tears of joy as the WWE Universe filled the Talking Stick Resort Arena with chants of “You deserve it!” As a result, Naomi not only begins her first title reign, but she will also have the honor of walking into WrestleMania, in her hometown of Orlando, as the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Bray Wyatt def. John Cena, The Miz, Baron Corbin, AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose in an Elimination Chamber Match to win the WWE Championship

Elimination Chamber - Full Results 233_ELIM_02122017hmm_5460--87be0637b48e6257b35bb16711313454

PHOENIX — Bray Wyatt stunned the WWE Universe at Elimination Chamber 2017, decimating the competition inside the unforgiving structure to capture the WWE Championship and set up a possible Wyatt Family showdown for the title at WrestleMania with Randy Orton.

The punishing battle inside the all-new Elimination Chamber began with a Royal Rumble rematch of sorts, as AJ Styles squared off with reigning champion John Cena.

The 16-time champion had a slight advantage over The Phenomenal One, having fought inside the brutal structure before.

However, Styles showed no fear inside the Chamber, going right after The Champ.
Cena had the upper hand as the first five-minute period expired and the first randomly selected pod was opened, sending Dean Ambrose into the fracas.

The Lunatic Fringe wasted no time in using the Chamber to his advantage, slamming Styles into the unforgiving floor, then scaling the pod he escaped from, only to dive off and come crashing down onto the WWE Champion.

The New Face of Fear was next to enter the chaotic Chamber, and he unleashed his brand of carnage immediately, hurling Styles into the cold steel chains that make up the structure.

The Phenomenal One recovered and scaled the chains alongside Cena, eventually sending Cena careening to the Chamber floor.

Styles’ high-altitude warfare continued atop one of the pods, where Ambrose introduced him face-first to the Lexan glass.

Corbin, as the fifth competitor summoned into the battle, went right after Ambrose, planting the Intercontinental Champion into the canvas with the Deep Six.

He then slammed Wyatt into The Miz’s pod and brazenly told The Eater of Worlds “I don’t fear you.”.
Fear of the Chamber was also not a factor for Corbin, who connected with End of Days on Cena and hurled Ambrose into the chains.

The Lone Wolf stood standing among the carnage, staring down a visibly unnerved Miz as The A-Lister’s pod slid open.

Unfortunately, the young Superstar took his eyes off Ambrose, who rolled Corbin up to send him packing.

That did not sit well with Corbin, who brutally tossed Ambrose through the Lexan glass and planted him into the mat with End of Days.

The Miz quickly seized the opportunity, finally scrambling out of his pod to pin The Lunatic Fringe and whittle the field down to four.

The A-Lister got a boost of confidence from eliminating Ambrose and went to work on his battle-worn competition.

However, after a Skull-Crushing Finale to Wyatt on the Chamber floor, Miz dove right into an Attitude Adjustment from Cena that ended his night.

Cena looked to thin out the competition a little more, but neither Styles nor Wyatt would go quietly into the night.

The Champ went all-out for the ultimate prize, scaling a pod and pointing at the WrestleMania sign hanging from the rafters before he leapt off onto his rivals.

Unfortunately, the grueling battle caught up with Cena, as Wyatt connected with Sister Abigail and pinned him.

The stunning incident brought an end to Cena’s record-tying 16th World Title reign and guaranteed that a new WWE Champion would be crowned at WWE Elimination Chamber.

Styles went right after The Eater of Worlds, who cut off  The Phenomenal One’s offensive blitz with a devastating clothesline.

It wouldn’t deter Styles from going full throttle to try and capture the title, but he took one risk too many and springboarded straight into Sister Abigail.

That quickly brought about the end of the carnage, and the start of Bray Wyatt’s reign as WWE Champion.
The fireflies inside Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena were out in full force as the new champion held his title high.

However, the emergence of Wyatt’s acolyte, Randy Orton, the winner of the 2017 Royal Rumble Match, left the WWE Universe wondering what lies ahead as the Road to WrestleMania heats up.

Will The Wyatt Family bonds hold up as WWE Champion Bray Wyatt and The Viper, the top contender to the title, move closer to Orlando and a possible showdown?

3. Dean Ambrose
4. Bray Wyatt
