Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 019_SUR_11202016ej_0111--1326d45f6d04ce369dd8b59929fb4368

The fate of the entire Cruiserweight division is at stake in Survivor Series’ WWE Cruiserweight Title Match, but Survivor Series Kickoff was all about displaying what the division has to offer.

In what could well have been their final bout as Raw-exclusive Superstars, the Cruiserweight division put its best and brightest on display and TJ Perkins, Rich Swann & Noam Dar stood out as the cream of the crop.

Facing Tony Nese, Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari, the impromptu trio came out swinging, with Swann handling the heavy lifting against Nese before TJP tagged in.

Perhaps looking to make a case for himself as a future contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship he lost at Hell in a Cell, Perkins broke out the big guns against The Premier Athlete.

Nese used his strength to escape an Octopus and tag in Gulak, though.
Even then, Perkins persisted, locking in an early Kneebar on Gulak that Nese and Daivari had to help break up.

If Perkins provided the science and Swann provided the flash, then it was the Scottish sensation Dar who proved to be the X-factor.
Dar not only gave his team a second wind after Perkins’ Kneebar was interrupted, but also toughed out a revolving door of pain from Daivari, Gulak and Nese to tag in Swann.

With a timely assist from Perkins, who vaulted over the referee to take out Gulak and Nese on the outside, Swann closed the match out with a kick to Daivari’s face and a Standing 450 Splash.
Cue the dancing.

Kane def. Luke Harper

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_Kane--a26eb260b458f7d3ed7f155eeac266d7

TORONTO – Kane not only tied his Brother of Destruction The Undertaker for the most all-time Survivor Series appearances (18), he also delivered a powerful blow in his ongoing struggle against The Wyatt Family, overcoming Luke Harper in a hard-fought Kickoff showdown on WWE Network.

Following Randy Orton’s stunning defection into the Wyatt fold several weeks ago on SmackDown LIVE, The Demon needed a victory against a member of the ominous faction in order to hold his ground.

However, the win would not prove easy.
Though the contest began with both monstrous Superstars sizing up the other, Harper quickly seized the advantage over his masked opponent by leaping at him through the ropes and out to the ringside floor – the first of several agile maneuvers the calculating competitor would execute throughout the match.

Kane roared back, however, and delivered an earth-shattering Superplex off the top rope.
With every moment that followed, the action intensified.

Yet, in the final moments, as Harper was about to attempt his patented Discus Clothesline, Kane countered with his signature chokeslam for the victory.

Will Kane’s stand against the forces of darkness bring about retribution from The New Wyatt Family?
Find out on SmackDown LIVE, this Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA

Team Raw def. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Women’s Elimination Match

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 075_SUR_11202016jg_0499--de2fb2ed9dc5f75df7ba6c2067e6e289

TORONTO – Some people are never satisfied.
Just moments after Team Raw prevailed in a highly contentious 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Women’s Elimination Match, winning team captain Charlotte Flair ambushed her unsuspecting fellow Survivor Bayley in a shocking display of aggression – and possible jealousy.

The Queen’s despicable demonstration came in the wake of the red brand eliminating all of Team SmackDown LIVE and Bayley eliminating final Team Blue holdout Becky Lynch with a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex, leaving herself and Charlotte as the Sole Survivors.

With the capacity crowd inside Air Canada Centre clearly favoring The Heroine of Hugs, the Raw Women’s Champion unleashed on her affable teammate.

The incident capped a turbulent evening that actually began to develop on the Survivor Series Kickoff, when Charlotte and Dana Brooke confronted Nikki Bella and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

The Second Nature Superstar had warned Nikki to “always look over your shoulder because you never know who’s willing to strike.”
Unfortunately for the Fearless Superstar, the warning would turn out to be a premonition.

Prior to her match, Nikki was attacked by an unknown assailant, rendering her unable to compete and forcing SmackDown LIVE coach Natalya to take her place alongside Becky, Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Naomi.

The new team dynamic did not bode well, ultimately, as Team SmackDown LIVE would fall victim to Charlotte, Bayley and the rest of Team Raw: Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox.

With such tempestuous intrigue roiling the Women’s rosters of both brands, two questions loom large: How will Bayley retaliate against The Queen?
And who exactly ambushed Nikki?

Intercontinental Champion The Miz def. Sami Zayn

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_mizzayn--6b6d0371356d3aa38aa32a17d1e2fa6c

TORONTO — With his title, his reputation, and the supremacy of his brand on the line, The Miz emerged victorious at Survivor Series to remain Intercontinental Champion, and his title stays with SmackDown LIVE.
And as usual, he has Maryse to thank for it.

Miz’s victory over Sami Zayn — fighting to bring the title over to his home on Raw — was the capper to a career week in a career year for The A-Lister.

He beat Zayn’s announced opponent of Dolph Ziggler to win the title on Tuesday’s SmackDown LIVE 900, thereby throwing a wrench into Zayn’s preparation.

For a while, however, it looked as though The Underdog from the Underground would coast to the title on sheer crowd support alone, as the Toronto faithful showered their man with “Ole” sing-alongs and the strains of his theme song.

The A-Lister, as always, played the long game.
First, he softened Zayn’s leg up for the Figure-Four Leglock, then slammed it against the steel ring post to take away nearly all of the challenger’s explosiveness.

Zayn managed to deny several of Miz’s Figure-Four attempts and even battled through the pain to deliver a plancha to the outside.

But the hobbled Canadian missed on two Helluva Kicks when his leg gave out during the first and Miz dodged the second, allowing Miz to finally lock in the Figure-Four.

Zayn battled his way to the ropes to break Miz’s hold and locked in a Figure-Four of his own, but Maryse saved her husband by ringing the bell and stopping the action.

After Zayn — who thought he’d won — released the hold and the ref went to clarify, Miz sprang with a rollup and put Zayn away.
Fair?

No, not at all.
But you have to admire the bravado.
You might even call it awesome.
Miz certainly will.

Team Raw def. Team SmackDown LIVE in a 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_mens--05b1b48ebd1e0dd525057f434dab2429

TORONTO – The ever-quarreling combination of Sheamus & Cesaro brought home a huge victory for Team Raw at Survivor Series, outlasting five of SmackDown LIVE’s elite tandems and emerging as the Sole Survivors in a jaw-dropping 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.

It was the one night of the year when Raw and SmackDown LIVE were pitted against one another for brand supremacy.

From the word “go,” each tag team stood ready to fight tooth-and-nail until all of their opponents were pinned, disqualified, counted out or forced to submit.

Only then would one brand be declared the winner.
Prior to the contest, both Enzo Amore & Big Cass and Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day vocalized their intentions to emerge victorious, though every tandem wore the mark of determination on their faces while making their way to the ring.

Unfortunately, it appeared that Breezango took the start of the match too lightly, enabling Kofi Kingston to take advantage and quickly eliminate the fashion police with the Midnight Hour.

Almost as lightning-fast, The Usos returned the favor, delivering a quick superkick on Kofi to score the follow-up pinfall and eliminate Raw’s team captains!

As the fast-paced showdown continued, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson laid waste to Zack Ryder to send Team SmackDown LIVE’s Hype Bros to the showers.

American Alpha next rose to the occasion and eliminated Raw’s Shining Stars.
With both sides down to three teams, a brawl broke out, and the action quickly escalated both inside and outside the ring.

Yet amid a rapid series of high-flying maneuvers from both brands, Raw's Gallows & Anderson hit the Magic Killer on Jason Jordan to eliminate American Alpha.

Then, when a subsequent mistake caused Gallows to get into a dispute with his own team, Team Blue’s Rhyno delivered a surprise Gore for the three-count.

That celebration was also short-lived, as Raw's Enzo & Big Cass took advantage of the commotion long enough to eliminate the SmackDown Tag Team Champions – only to be upended moments later by a superkick and Samoan Splash from The Usos.

The match came down to a knock-down, drag-out struggle between SmackDown LIVE's Usos and Raw's Sheamus & Cesaro.
Though both tandems scored near-pinfalls on several occasions, the final moments of the contest saw Cesaro reverse Jey Uso’s Tequila Sunrise to lock in the Sharpshooter.

Jimmy tried to break it up with a superkick, only to be intercepted by a brutal Brogue Kick from The Celtic Warrior, Trapped in the middle of the ring, Jey had no choice but to tap out, leaving Cesaro, Sheamus and Team Red victorious.

Though they continued to bicker throughout their team's shining moment, there can be no arguement that Sheamus & Cesaro standing as the Sole Survivors was a huge coup for Raw in its struggle to prove itself as the superior brand.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick def. Kalisto

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_cw--7c38887761ed58b8f0f123e804ba2ca5

TORONTO — Given that Kalisto put Baron Corbin on the injured list to keep him out of Survivor Series, it shouldn’t have surprised Kalisto that the vindictive Lone Wolf interfered in The King of Flight’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match at Survivor Series.

It’s unlikely anybody expected what happened when he did, though.
Current — and still — Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick should thank his lucky stars that Corbin did interfere in the match, because Kalisto was well on his way to both taking Kendrick’s title and the entire Cruiserweight division to SmackDown LIVE.

Customary Cruiserweight handshake aside, The Wizard of Odd didn’t show Kalisto the slightest bit of respect as a contender (Kendrick consigned him to the “cheap thrills” pile before the match).

And by the time Kendrick realized he was facing a genuine threat, the damage had almost already been done.
Proving he was every bit as tough as Kendrick was cunning, Kalisto rebounded from a hellacious Captain’s Hook off the second rope to land a Salida del Sol that Kendrick managed to survive via rope break.

When Kalisto ascended the ropes to finish the job, Corbin struck, only he laid out Kendrick to disqualify Kalisto, ensuring The King of Flight wouldn’t even win the match on a technicality.
He then planted his rival with the End of Days for good measure.

205 Live may land Kalisto the WWE Cruiserweight Title yet if he chooses to pursue that route — or if Corbin doesn’t put him out of action first.
But as far as the Cruiserweight division goes, they still fight on Monday nights.

Team SmackDown LIVE def. Team Raw in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men’s Elimination Match

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_roman--862310c9d101077cefa83e37378a1e69

TORONTO – At Survivor Series, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton solidified a moment of brand supremacy for SmackDown LIVE, as The Viper sacrificed himself for The New Face of Fear in the 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Men’s Elimination Match.

The stakes could not have been higher.
The fierce competitors of Raw and SmackDown LIVE would battle until all of the other team’s opponents had been pinned, disqualified, counted out or forced to submit.

It was no wonder that the tension had reached a fever pitch as WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, United States Champion Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins represented Raw against WWE World Champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon, with Team Blue’s official “mascot,” James Ellsworth, watching on.

The showdown began with both teams making frequent tags while attempting to find a weak link in the opposition’s collective armor.
Eventually, Team Raw took charge and closed off Shane McMahon from his squad, then proceeded to unleash enormous abuse on the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner.

Dean Ambrose soon managed to relieve him, but a cheap shot on The Lunatic Fringe ignited an all-out brawl both inside and outside the ring.
Shockingly, the melee culminated in SmackDown LIVE teammates Styles and Ambrose to start fighting each other.

When The Phenomenal One blasted The Lunatic Fringe from behind, he opened the door for Raw’s Strowman to eliminate Ambrose.
At that point, Strowman began to single-handedly decimate Team SmackDown LIVE, which quickly led to an even more interesting staredown against his former leader, Bray Wyatt.

The abominable Strowman then proceeded to take down Wyatt, his own teammate Jericho and anyone else who got in his way.
Orton eventually hit Strowman with an RKO outta nowhere onto the announce table, with a battle-weary Shane-O-Mac adding an earth-shattering Flying Elbow off the top of the ring post.

Though Shane would have to be carried back into the ring to avoid being counted out, Strowman was prevented from doing likewise, thanks to Team Blue’s mascot.
Hiding underneath the ring, Ellsworth somehow managed to hold onto the Raw brute’s leg long enough for the official to count him out.

Incensed, the newly eliminated Strowman stalked Ellsworth up the ramp, then hurled him off the stage and through a table.
Back in the ring, Shane once again endured a great deal of punishment at the hands of his Raw opponents, yet he refused to give in.

Soon, Styles tagged himself back into the action and began to mix it up with Jericho.
However, when Styles knocked Owens off the ring apron, The Prizefighter opted to blast him with Jericho’s infamous List — a move that earned him a disqualification.

Worse, while a panicked Jericho attempted to pick up the pieces of his disheveled pages, Orton hit him with an RKO, sending the six-time World Champion following his best friend to the back.
The action continued to intensify as only Reigns and Rollins remained to battle Wyatt, Orton, Styles and McMahon.

Yet, when Shane-O-Mac tried to go Coast-to-Coast, The Big Dog recovered and caught him with a midair Spear so devastating, the referee ruled that Shane was unable to continue.
While officials helped the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner to the back, order completely broke down once more as Ambrose suddenly re-emerged from nowhere and unleashed an assault of pure retribution on “The Champ that Runs the Camp.”

When security tried to regain order, Reigns and Rollins came to Ambrose’s aid, and the former Shield brothers temporarily reunited to deliver a Triple Powerbomb on Styles.
Rollins then rolled the war-torn WWE World Champion into the ring and pinned him, and just like that, the match was down to two men on each side.

Those numbers didn’t last long, though. As Rollins and Reigns turned their attention to Orton and Wyatt, Luke Harper suddenly emerged and gave The Wyatts a brief numbers advantage.
Reigns and Rollins continued to battle tough, yet as The Architect climbed up top to finish a staggered Eater of Worlds, he instead ate a midair RKO from The Viper that left him unable to kick out of a cover by Wyatt.

Reigns was left to face both Orton and Wyatt all by himself, with Harper still lurking in the wings.
Nevertheless, The Big Dog was able to overcome the odds, and in fact was primed to take down Wyatt with a Spear.

However, at the last second, Orton pushed the Wyatt patriarch out of the way, taking the full force of the Spear himself – and in turn, allowing The Eater of Worlds to hit Reigns with Sister Abigail for the huge victory.
Indeed, SmackDown LIVE picked up a crucial triumph on a night that was arguably Raw-dominant.

However, considering that it was The New Face of Fear and The Viper who delivered the victory, will it be Team Blue that ultimately pays the price?
Find out Tuesday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Goldberg def. Brock Lesnar

Survivor Series 2016 - Full Results 20161120_SurvivorSeries_goldberg2--d5eed8c3ce31d0d7b5cbe7975a5fc99d

TORONTO — In took only 1-minute, 24-seconds for Goldberg to dominate his match against Brock Lesnar, defeating The Beast Incarnate with two Spears and a Jackhammer and positively stunning the WWE Universe.

After a 12-year hiatus from competition, Goldberg proved that he hasn’t lost a single step.
With his wife and young son watching him compete live for the first time ever, the proud husband and father avenged his family after weeks of insults from Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman.

The quick carnage began shortly after the opening bell rang when Lesnar backed Goldberg into the corner, only to be forcefully shoved back and then leveled with a Spear.

The stunned Beast shook off the pain and rose to his feet, but he was hardly expecting what occurred next; Goldberg nailed him with a second, punishing Spear.

This dazed Lesnar enough that his opponent recognized an opportunity and quickly seized it.
He hoisted the 286-pound, former four-time WWE World Champion above his head and heaved him to the mat with an astounding Jackhammer, followed by a three-count the WWE Universe wasn’t prepared to yet believe.

With the audience inside Air Canada Centre thunderously chanting his name, Goldberg celebrated his 2-0 record against Lesnar by kissing his wife and bringing his son into the ring to celebrate in a picture-perfect moment.

Although the loss certainly won’t sit well with The Beast Incarnate, prior to the bout, Goldberg alluded to the possibility that this may have been his last match.
After such a dominant performance, however, we’re left with only one question: “Who’s next?”
